Join OSM Thome as an Ablebodied Seafarer (AB) on modern RORO/ROPAX for 2 trips.
OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Able Seafarer (AB) to serve on a RORO/ROPAX vessel trading in UK waters. If you are a hands-on seafarer with solid deck experience and good teamwork skills, we would like to hear from you.
- AB - COC - Mandatory
- 1st Trip till 10/11/2026
- 2nd Trip 08/12/26 – 03/02/26
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist with mooring, unmooring and anchoring operations
- Carry out lookout and helmsman duties as required
- Perform routine deck maintenance, cleaning and painting
- Assist in cargo and vehicle operations on RORO/ROPAX deck
- Follow safety procedures and take part in drills
- Support officers with day-to-day deck duties
- Requirements:
- Valid AB certificate and STCW basic safety training
- Experience on RORO or ROPAX vessels preferred
- Valid seafarer medical certificate (fit for duty)
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a team
