Join OSM Thome as Hotel Fitter (FTR) on board STENA HORIZON,. You will be responsible for safe and efficient repair and maintenance of all hotel and accommodation areas, helping to keep the vessel in top condition for crew and passengers.
- Key responsibilities:
- Perform steel, pipe and basic carpentry work in hotel and accommodation areas
- Carry out routine maintenance, repairs and modifications as instructed by the Chief Engineer
- Maintain and repair doors, locks, furniture, panelling and public areas
- Ensure good housekeeping and safe work practices in all work areas
- Assist with inspections and follow up on reported defects
- Requirements:
- Previous experience as Fitter / Hotel Fitter on passenger or RoPax vessels preferred
- Relevant fitter/metalworker trade education or equivalent sea-going experience
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness as per international regulations
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety awareness, teamwork attitude and ability to work independently
