Join our crew as an Ordinary Seaman on an Oil/Chemical Tanker trading from Lome. You will work closely with the deck team, support safe cargo and ship operations, and help keep the vessel in good condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with mooring, unmooring, and anchoring operations
- Carry out routine deck maintenance, chipping, painting, and cleaning
- Support watchkeeping duties as directed by officers and Bosun
- Handle mooring ropes, wires, fenders, and gangway as required
- Assist in cargo operations and tank cleaning under supervision
- Follow all safety procedures and use PPE correctly
Requirements
- Valid Ordinary Seaman (OS) license and seaman’s book
- Tanker (Oil/Chemical) familiarization and valid STCW certificates
- Good seamanship skills and basic deck experience
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate and vaccinations
- Ability to follow instructions, work in a team, and follow safety rules
- Good spoken and written English
