Join OSM Thome as Deck Foreman (DFO) on a multipurpose offshore vessel in Brazil. In this role, you will lead the deck crew, ensure safe deck operations, and support marine and offshore activities to the highest standards.
- Key responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise deck crew during all deck and cargo operations
- Plan and execute lifting, rigging, and deck activities safely
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of deck equipment and gear
- Coordinate with bridge and offshore teams during operations
- Monitor work permits and safe working practices on deck
- Support toolbox talks and safety drills
- Requirements:
- Proven experience as Deck Foreman / Bosun on offshore vessels
- Strong knowledge of deck, cargo, and lifting operations
- Valid offshore and maritime certificates relevant to the position
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for offshore work and willing to work in Brazil
- Strong focus on safety and teamwork
