Join OSM Thome as Deck Foreman (DFO) on an offshore multipurpose vessel in Brazil. You will lead deck crew in daily operations, ensuring safe, efficient and well-coordinated deck work in support of marine and offshore activities.
- Key responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate deck crew during all deck and cargo operations
- Plan and execute lifting, rigging and deck activities in a safe manner
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of deck equipment and gear
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety checks before deck operations
- Report any defects, near misses and unsafe conditions to the officer in charge
- Requirements:
- Proven experience as Deck Foreman or senior deck crew offshore
- Solid knowledge of deck, lifting and rigging operations
- Valid offshore and marine certificates as required for Brazil
- Strong leadership, communication and safety mindset
- Ability to work in a multicultural team and in challenging offshore conditions
