Join OSM Thome as a Rigger on an offshore multipurpose vessel in Brazil. You will work with deck and crane teams to secure and move heavy loads safely, supporting daily marine and offshore operations.
- Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and inspect lifting gear, slings, shackles and wires before use
- Rig and guide loads during crane and deck operations
- Follow lifting plans and safety procedures at all times
- Assist with deck work, cargo handling and general maintenance
- Report any unsafe conditions, damaged gear or incidents to supervisors
- Requirements:
- Proven offshore rigger experience on vessels or platforms
- Valid rigger/lifting operations certification
- Good knowledge of lifting gear, safe working loads and hand signals
- Fit for offshore work, including medical and required offshore courses
- Team player with a strong safety mindset and basic English communication
