Key responsibilities
- Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine, auxiliaries and all engine room equipment
- Carry out planned maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting as instructed by senior engineers
- Monitor engine room parameters and report any deviations or defects
- Keep engine room, workshops and stores clean, safe and well organized
- Follow all safety, environmental and company procedures at all times
Requirements
- Valid 3rd Engineer (III/1 or higher) CoC, unlimited
- Mandatory with IGF Advance and Basic
- Previous seagoing experience in the engine department (car carrier or RORO experience an advantage)
- Valid STCW certificates, medical and travel documents
- Good English communication skills
- Team player with a strong safety and work ethic
