We are looking for an experienced Fitter (FTR) to work onboard an FPSO in Egypt. You will carry out steel repair, pipe work and general maintenance to keep the vessel in safe and reliable condition.
Job Information
- Job Position: Fitter.
- Project: FPSO in Egypt.
- Rotation: 60/60 on/off.
- Salary: 80 USD per day.
- Insurances: Provided by the Owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out steel repairs, cutting, grinding and welding as instructed.
- Maintain and repair pipes, brackets, foundations and ship structures.
- Assist with fabrication of parts and supports for machinery and equipment.
- Follow safety procedures and permit-to-work systems at all times.
- Support deck and engine teams in maintenance and repair jobs as required.
Requirements/Competence/Qualification
- Very good knowledge of the English Language.
- Oiler COC and Fitter/ Welder recognized license.
- Good knowledge on lathe Welding, Tig Welding and Fitting tasks.
- Proven seagoing experience as Fitter, preferably on FPSO.
- Ability to work safely in a busy offshore environment and in a team.
