Join OSM Thome as Rating & Catering crew on an Offshore Subsea Rock Installation Vessel (SRI) operating in the UK sector.
We are looking for experienced seafarers with the right to work in the UK to join Rock Star, a newbuild rock installation vessel
Mobilisation: December / early January
- Key responsibilities:
- Bosun & AB – assist with mooring, anchoring, cargo and deck operations
- Crane Operator / Excavator Operator – operate and assist with crane and excavator work for subsea rock installation
- Fitter – carry out mechanical repairs, maintenance and welding work
- Motorman/Oiler – support engine room operations, routine checks, cleaning and oiling of machinery
- Chief Cook – plan and prepare meals, manage galley, provisions and catering team
- 2nd Cook – prepare and assist with cooking meals, galley cleaning and food storage
- Steward/Stewardess – maintain cleanliness in accommodation, mess rooms and common areas; assist with meal service
- All crew – follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Requirements:
- Valid UK Work Permit / Right to Work in the UK is essential – applications without it cannot be considered
- Relevant seagoing experience in the position applied for
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness (UK/Offshore sector compliant)
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety mindset and willingness to work in a busy offshore environment
- Willingness to work offshore in a rotation system
- Ability to work in a mixed crew and follow instructions from senior officers
