Experienced Chief Officer for Offshore FSV in Israel. Lead safe, efficient operations with OSM Thome’s dynamic offshore team.
OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Chief Officer to serve on a Fast Supply Vessel operating offshore Israel. You will support the Master in all deck operations, navigation, and safety matters to ensure safe and efficient vessel performance.
- Key responsibilities:
- Stand navigational watches and oversee bridge operations
- Plan and supervise cargo, deck, and supply operations
- Lead and train deck crew in day-to-day work
- Maintain vessel stability, ballast, and loading conditions
- Ensure implementation of safety procedures, drills, and permit-to-work systems
- Keep deck equipment, lifesaving and firefighting appliances in good order
- Requirements:
- Valid Chief Officer (Deck) license, II/2 or equivalent
- Offshore / FSV or similar high-speed vessel experience preferred
- Good knowledge of offshore operations and safety standards
- Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
