OSM Thome is looking for an experienced 2nd Officer to join a Platform Supply Vessel operating offshore Guyana. You will support safe navigation, cargo operations, and deck activities in a busy offshore environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Stand navigational watch and ensure safe passage at all times
- Plan and monitor voyages in line with company and charterer requirements
- Assist with DP operations and offshore supply duties as required
- Oversee deck crew for routine maintenance and cargo deck operations
- Maintain charts, publications, and navigational equipment
- Support implementation of safety, environmental and company procedures
Requirements
- Valid 2nd Officer (OOW Deck) license meeting STCW requirements
- DPO Unlimited certificate is mandatory
- Previous experience as 2/O, preferably on PSV or other offshore vessels
- Valid STCW basic and advanced safety certificates
- Good English communication skills, written and spoken
- Medically fit for sea service with valid offshore medical
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work in a multinational crew
