Motorman (MTM) / Oiler – Offshore Service Operation Vessel (SOV), Denmark
**Description**
OSM Thome is looking for an experienced Motorman (MTM) / Oiler to join an Offshore Service Operation Vessel (SOV) under Cyprus flag, with joining in Thyborøn, Denmark. The role supports safe and efficient engine room operations and maintenance of all machinery and equipment.
**Key responsibilities**
- Carry out routine watchkeeping duties in the engine room
- Perform maintenance, cleaning and lubrication of main and auxiliary machinery
- Monitor and record parameters of engines, pumps, compressors and other equipment
- Assist engineers with repairs and overhauls
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards in the engine room
- Follow all safety, environmental and company procedures
**Requirements**
- Relevant seagoing experience as Motorman / Oiler
- Experience in the same position on similar offshore / SOV or other specialized vessels is preferred
- Valid STCW certificates and seafarer documents required for the rank
- Good knowledge of engine room operations, maintenance and safe working practices
- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions precisely
