Vessel: Rock Star – Rock Dumping Vessel
Location: North Sea
Main Purpose of the Role
We are seeking an experienced Master to join our modern rock dumping vessel Rock Star operating on offshore construction and subsea projects in the North Sea. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe navigation, operation and overall command of the vessel while ensuring compliance with company, client and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain full command and responsibility for the vessel, crew and operations.
Ensure safe execution of rock dumping and offshore support activities.
Lead and motivate a multinational marine crew, promoting a strong safety culture.
Ensure compliance with flag state, class, ISM, ISPS and client requirements.
Oversee voyage planning, DP operations and marine project execution.
Liaise closely with offshore project teams, clients and shore management.
Manage vessel performance, operational efficiency and environmental compliance.
Ensure emergency preparedness and effective incident response onboard.
Requirements
Valid Master Unlimited CoC (STCW compliant).
Previous experience sailing as Master on offshore vessels such as rock dump vessels, subsea construction vessels, cable lay vessels, dredgers or DP offshore support vessels.
Strong knowledge of DP operations and offshore marine activities.
Experience leading large crews in a challenging offshore environment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Valid offshore certification and medical.
