- Key responsibilities:
- Overall command of the vessel, crew, and operations
- Plan and execute safe navigation and offshore operations
- Ensure compliance with flag, class, company and client requirements
- Oversee bridge team, deck operations, and mooring/anchor handling as required
- Maintain a strong safety culture and conduct drills and toolbox talks
- Coordinate with client representatives and shore management
- Ensure proper documentation, reports and logbooks are kept up to date
- Requirements:
- Valid Master (CPT) CoC, meeting STCW requirements for this vessel type and trade
- Proven experience as Master on offshore seismic, research or similar offshore vessels
- Good knowledge of offshore operations, DP and survey work (where applicable)
- Strong leadership, crew management and communication skills
- Good command of English, spoken and written
- Medically fit for offshore service and holder of valid offshore / STCW certificates
- Valid Inline Bunkering Course will be considered as advantage
