Join OSM Thome as an Ordinary Seaman on an Oil/Chemical Tanker trading in Europe. Be part of a safe and professional crew, supporting deck operations and vessel maintenance on international voyages.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist with mooring, unmooring and anchoring operations
- Carry out deck maintenance, chipping, painting and cleaning
- Handle lines, fenders, hoses and gangway as directed
- Stand lookout and assist on bridge when required
- Follow all safety procedures and use PPE correctly
- Support cargo operations under officer’s supervision
- Requirements:
- Valid STCW certificates for Ordinary Seaman
- Experience on tankers (oil/chemical) preferred
- Valid seaman’s book, medical and relevant tanker documents
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for deck work and willing to follow safety standards
