Join OSM Thome as Electro Technical Officer (ETO) on chemical tankers trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional crew, ensuring safe and efficient operation of all electrical and electronic systems on board.
- Key responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain and repair all electrical, electronic and automation systems on board
- Carry out planned maintenance and troubleshooting for power generation and distribution systems
- Support safe cargo handling operations and tank equipment from an electrical/automation perspective
- Ensure proper upkeep of navigation, communication and safety systems
- Keep technical records, reports and spares inventory up to company standards
- Requirements:
- Valid ETO CoC and all mandatory STCW certificates
- Seagoing experience as ETO, preferably on chemical or product tankers
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical, electronic and automation systems
- Good English communication and ability to work in a multinational crew
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate and willing to work worldwide
