Join OSM Thome as 3rd Officer on our Oil/Chemical Tanker fleet trading worldwide. Be part of a professional deck team, supporting safe navigation, cargo operations and overall vessel safety.
- Key responsibilities:
- Stand navigational watch as OOW in compliance with COLREGs and company procedures
- Assist with cargo loading, discharging, line-up and tank operations
- Monitor and maintain deck and safety equipment as assigned
- Carry out and record safety rounds, drills and inspections
- Support implementation of ISM, ISPS and vessel safety management systems
- Assist with mooring and unmooring operations in port and at sea
- Requirements:
- Valid STCW Officer of the Watch (Deck) CoC
- Previous experience as 3/O or J/O on Oil/Chemical Tankers preferred
- Tanker familiarization and advanced oil/chemical tanker training as per STCW
- Valid STCW safety certificates and seafarer medical
- Good spoken and written English
- Strong safety mindset and willingness to work in a multinational crew
