Join OSM Thome as 2nd Officer onboard an Offshore PSV operating in Mozambique. We are looking for a competent and safety-minded officer to support bridge and deck operations and ensure smooth vessel performance.
- Key responsibilities:
- Stand navigational watch and assist the Chief Officer and Master
- Plan and monitor voyages, including chart and publication corrections
- Assist with DP operations as required
- Oversee deck crew in daily work and cargo operations
- Ensure safe operation of lifesaving and firefighting equipment
- Follow company and vessel safety procedures at all times
- Requirements:
- Valid 2nd Officer / OOW license, STCW compliant
- Experience on Offshore vessels, preferably PSV
- Valid STCW basic and advanced courses, medical and offshore certificates
- Good watchkeeping, navigation and shiphandling skills
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety awareness and teamwork attitude
