Join OSM Thome as a Motorman / Oiler on an offshore accommodation vessel (flotel) operating in Brazil. Work closely with the engine team to keep all machinery running safely and efficiently in a steady offshore environment.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with operation and maintenance of main and auxiliary engines
- Carry out routine checks, cleaning, and lubrication of machinery and equipment
- Monitor engine room parameters and report any abnormalities
- Support bunkering operations and fuel transfers as required
- Follow safety procedures and take part in emergency drills
- Requirements:
- Valid Motorman / Oiler (Engine Rating) documents and STCW certificates
- Previous experience in the engine department, preferably on offshore vessels
- Good English communication skills
- Medically fit for offshore duty and able to work in a multicultural crew
