Join OSM Thome as 3rd Engineer on a container vessel trading worldwide. You will be part of a professional engine team, supporting safe and efficient operations of all main and auxiliary machinery.
- Key responsibilities:
- Assist in operation and maintenance of main engine, generators and auxiliary equipment
- Carry out routine inspections, planned maintenance and repairs in the engine room
- Monitor engine room parameters and report any abnormalities
- Follow onboard safety procedures and pollution prevention rules
- Keep engine room and workshops clean, safe and organized
- Requirements:
- Valid 3rd Engineer (III/1 or equivalent) license
- Previous experience as 3/E or ETO/Junior Engineer on seagoing vessels, preferably container
- Valid STCW certificates, medical and seaman’s book
- Good English communication skills
- Strong safety mindset and ability to work well in a mixed-nationality crew
