Our client provides a complete range of drilling and mining services. With operations expanding, they are looking for experienced RC Drillers that have previously worked with mining in Australia to work on a major project in Africa on an 8 and 4 roster.

Responsibilities include:

Manage the drill rig and crews whilst delivering safe drilling operations and client expectations

Consistently apply exceptional drilling practices and techniques

Ensure personnel compliance with the companies HSE regulations and site specific rules

Training of local employees

About You:

7 years of experience in RC drilling is required

At least 5 years in the mining or contracting fields

Experience working in Australian Mining Exploration (preferred)

RC drilling experience and mobile carrier mounted diamond drill rigs, IT forklift to remove rigs

Proven experience in either RC exploration or grade control drilling

Certificate II or Certificate III in Drilling Operations

Booster and Auxiliary experience essential

Mechanical knowledge/background and a willingness to learn

Demonstrated leadership in Safety, Health, Environment and Quality

Demonstrated ability to empower local communities and hold 'cultural awareness' in high regard

Working experience with diverse cultures is preferred and must be able to communicate in English
