We're excited to announce a unique opportunity to work on board our client's Oceanography / Research vessel as a Mess Attendant. This role is your ticket to embark on a worldwide voyage, starting July 2, 2024, under the flag of the United States.

As part of the Steward's Department, you'll collaborate closely with the Steward and Cook, playing a pivotal role in the onboard hospitality. Your duties will span assisting the Cook, serving meals, and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our galley and mess deck.

What You Are Offered:

• Work Schedule: Engage in fulfilling 12-hour days, with any time worked over 8 hours on weekdays, and throughout Saturdays and Sundays, recognized as overtime.
• Competitive Compensation: Enjoy a starting wage of $25.14 per hour, with an overtime rate of $37.71.
• Additional Benefits: Accumulate 12 hours of shore leave weekly (2.4 hours per weekday) along with 2.47 hours weekly.

Your Contributions and Qualifications:

• Bring a minimum of 2 years of galley environment experience to our team.
• Possession of a United States Permanent Resident Card (“Green Card”) is required.
• Fluency in English is essential.
