Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Valid Chief Engineer license
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chief Engineer on jack-up rigs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in maritime operations
• Excellent problem-solving abilities

Tasks:

• Oversee the engine room operations on a jack-up barge
• Ensure efficient maintenance and operation of all marine engineering systems
• Lead a team of engineers to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly
• Maintain detailed records of engine room activities
