Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
- Willingness and flexibility to work internationally and travel as required.
- Previous experience in pipeline installation, fabrication, or offshore pipeline projects.
- Good understanding of pipeline color coding, material identification, and specifications.
- Experience in handling and recording pipe tally sheets and tracking pipe joints during operations.
- Familiarity with offshore construction procedures and safety standards.
- Attention to detail and high accuracy in documentation.
- Proficient in English (written and verbal); ability to communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multicultural team.
Tasks:
- Maintain accurate records of pipe joints, lengths, heat numbers, and other relevant pipe data during offshore operations.
- Prepare and update daily pipe tally reports for management and project teams.
- Assist in the identification and tracking of pipes in accordance with project specifications and color coding systems.
- Coordinate with logistics and deck teams to ensure proper handling and storage of pipe materials.
- Verify pipe data against project documentation and highlight any discrepancies.
- Support offshore pipe installation activities by providing updated tally information as needed.
- Ensure all data is collected, organized, and submitted in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate actively in toolbox talks and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist QA/QC teams during inspections relating to pipe materials.
- Report any issues or irregularities to the Pipe Tally Supervisor or Project Engineer.
