• Project: Offshore Construction/Heavy Lift vessel
• Location: Worldwide
• Duration: 12 months (renewable)
• Rotation: 35 days on/off
• Salary: This will be discussed with the right candidate but is consolidated Monthly – paid only while onboard.
• Start date: 09/2025
• Insurance: Provided by the company

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Mandatory: Minimum of 5 years experience serving onboard heavy-lift or construction vessels as an Electro-Technical Officer.
• In-depth expertise with the Kongsberg K‑Chief automation suite, including power management, auxiliary machinery control, and I/O systems 
• Comprehensive knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems, generator synchronization, and onboard power production.
• Solid grounding in electrical diagnostics, maintenance prioritization, and spare parts forecasting.
• Proficiency in English.

Tasks:

• Lead the electrical crew supporting the ship’s machinery systems, working closely with Electrical Lead or Chief Engineer.
• Oversee all electrical/electronic equipment during machinery operations, adhering to onboard safety rules.
• Set maintenance priorities, craft schedules, and flag critical work to management.
• Forecast required spare parts and materials to maintain uninterrupted operations.
• Enforce HSE and quality systems, ensuring full compliance during all activities.
• Track the performance and reliability of electrical systems, recommending improvements for efficiency and safety.
