Information about the job: 

• Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
• Project: Various Offshore 
• Location: KSA/Dammam
• Duration: 12 months (renewable)
• Rotation: 120/14 days on/off
• Salary: Please state your realistic expectations when applying. The starting point is 4500 USD per month of work, which will be discussed with the right candidate. It is consolidated monthly and paid also when at home.
• Start date: ASAP

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven hands-on experience in using ETAP and PSCAD software for Oil & Gas projects.
• Proficient in reviewing electrical design deliverables: Load Lists, Single Line Diagrams (SLD), equipment and cable sizing, cable/conduit schedules, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare purchase requisitions and conduct technical bid evaluations for electrical equipment.
• Familiar with IEEE/ANSI & IEC standards; knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards is a plus.
• Strong understanding of design practices, construction methodologies, and industry procedures.
• Independent, reliable, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage technical tasks with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).

Tasks:

• Conduct detailed power system studies using ETAP, including: Power Flow & Load Flow Analysis, Transient Stability Study, Arc Flash Safety Assessment, Protective Relay Settings and Coordination, Grounding & Shielding Study, Ferro-resonance and Islanding/Load Shedding Studies
• Perform insulation coordination and switching analysis using PSCAD.
• Analyze and validate system designs through comprehensive simulation and modeling techniques.
• Review and verify technical design documents and engineering calculations for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and submit professional study reports in accordance with Saudi Aramco standards.
• Interpret and implement international standards and ensure best practices are followed in all stages of engineering.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
