  • Rotation: 35 days on/off
  • Salary: Please state your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated monthly paid while working only.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

  • Candidates with experience in automation, mechanical, or electrical technician roles who also meet the following requirements are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Offshore experience is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in the role or as an automation, mechanical, or electrical technician.
  • Interpret and apply basic electrical and mechanical schematics to support equipment setup and diagnostics.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues using systematic troubleshooting methods.
  • Operate and maintain various welding equipment, including generators and automated systems, with proficiency in plasma and induction techniques.
  • Demonstrate foundational knowledge in electrical and electrotechnical principles for effective equipment handling.
  • Assist in the commissioning processes of electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Basic competency in MS Office and general computer applications.
  • Intermediate proficiency in both written and spoken English.


Tasks:

  • Monitor and maintain functionality of pipeline equipment through all project phases.
  • Perform hands-on electrical/mechanical tasks in line with HSE and quality protocols.
  • Handle electrical setups—wiring, breakers, transformers, cabinets, etc.
  • Interpret technical schematics to ensure proper installation and alignment.
  • Inspect tools and systems for safety; report faults and ensure safe spare part storage.
  • Conduct system tests using diagnostic tools to confirm operational integrity.
  • Coordinate activities to ensure safety during concurrent operations.
  • Install and connect mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance and unsupervised repairs on pipeline tech equipment.
  • Log all maintenance, changes, and interventions accurately.
  • Propose improvements to boost equipment efficiency, safety, and performance.
  • Safeguard idle equipment to ensure readiness when redeployed.
  • Follow permit-to-work guidelines and comply with all company procedures.
