  • Rotation: Different rotation schemes on offer: 56/28 or 165/30 depending on the project location.
  • Salary: Please state your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated monthly.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

  • Proficient in interpreting mechanical drawings, including tolerances and detailed work instructions.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience operating manual lathes and milling machines in either onshore and offshore settings.
  • Skilled in fabricating steel components based on samples or technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with parallel lathe operations.
  • Capable of performing routine maintenance on machining tools following manufacturer guidelines.
  • Commitment to safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
  • Proficiency in English.

Tasks:

  • Operate manual machining equipment—such as lathes, mills, and drills—to manufacture steel parts within specified tolerances.
  • Utilize CNC machinery when available and within skill set.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on mechanical equipment within the machine shop.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the machine shop environment.
  • Participate in safety meetings and job safety analyses as required.
  • Report directly to the 2nd Engineer.
