Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
- Previous Senior level experience in offshore hook-up activities is required
- Extensive experience in coordinating offshore construction activities, particularly in hook-up operations.
- Proficiency in managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors in a marine environment.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, including Permit-to-Work systems and Job Safety Analyses.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and oversee the implementation of project specifications.
- Familiarity with crane operations and marine logistics support.
- Experience in pressure testing, flange management, and commissioning processes.
- Excellent communication skills for interfacing with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in English.
Tasks:
- Lead and coordinate the execution of hook-up activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
- Supervise foremen and discipline supervisors, facilitating effective interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Manage simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) and ensure safe coordination among various contractors and plant operations.
- Monitor the availability of materials, equipment, and tools, addressing any shortages proactively.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, conducting regular toolbox talks and enforcing the use of PPE.
- Report incidents and near-miss events, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Oversee crane operations in coordination with marine vessels and platform equipment.
- Assist in marine operations and logistics support when required.
- Prepare detailed shift reports and ensure seamless handovers between shifts.
- Support the tracking and management of project equipment and consumables, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Verify the condition and certification of rigging gear, ensuring all equipment is within compliance.
- Collaborate with the commissioning team to facilitate mechanical completion tasks.
