KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

· Provide information for diagnosing disease by conducting medical laboratory tests and procedures for body fluids like blood, urine, and stool.

· Responsible for encoding, recording and validating test results.

· Responsible for verifying patient’s data and list of tests.

· Monitor and record the laboratory census of the delegated section.

· Ensure equipment remains in good condition and report any malfunction to the immediate supervisor and/or coordinate with Admin for preventive maintenance.

· Monitor laboratory supplies to maintain stock level and to generate month end report.

· Responsible for calibration and daily quality control of equipment.

· Perform National External Quality Assessment Scheme.

· Ensure that all safety guidelines are always strictly followed, and the work environment is maintained cleanly and orderly.
