Information about the job:

• Job Title: Commissioning Telecom Superintendent.
• Project: Onshore in Italy and later Offshore in Romania.
• Salary: Please state your realistic expected monthly wage when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate + 1120 EUR monthly allowance will be offered on top of the salary.
• Start date: ASAP.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Experience working with telecommunications systems in industrial or energy sectors.
• Strong knowledge of hazard identification and control measures.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and permitting systems (e.g., Permit to Work).
• Understanding of international regulations and safety frameworks (HSE, ISO, etc.).
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and testing procedures.
• Proficient in documenting technical results and inspection outcomes.
• Proficiency in English.

Tasks:

• Carry out all assigned duties in alignment with established health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols.
• Review and confirm safety conditions before starting work, including responsibilities outlined in the Permit to Work (PTW) process.
• Prepare and restore work areas according to permit requirements and project procedures.
• Monitor operations to spot and manage potential risks that could impact people, assets, or the surrounding environment.
• Perform system inspections and functional tests in coordination with internal teams and third-party suppliers, following project guidelines.
• Accurately document inspection and test outcomes using standardised reporting tools approved by the project.
