OSM Thome is looking for skilled and professional Casino Dealers to join Royal Caribbean's shipboard team. In this role, you will conduct table games such as Blackjack, Dice, Roulette, Let It Ride, Caribbean Stud Poker, and other related games, while ensuring compliance with company procedures, gaming regulations, and high service standards. Our dealers create a fun, fair, and exciting environment that enhances the overall guest experience.


Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Conduct all casino table games according to established rules, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Exchange currency for playing chips or tokens and announce all exchanges clearly.
  • Ensure wagers are placed before cards are dealt, roulette wheels are spun, or dice are tossed.
  • Accurately handle and maintain cards, dice, chips, money, and gaming equipment while keeping the pace of the game engaging.
  • Inform players of rules and regulations during gameplay and answer guest questions.
  • Announce winning hands, numbers, or colors; calculate payouts and settle bets.
  • Observe players’ behavior, identify playing styles, and remain alert to potential security risks.
  • Notify management or security of any suspicious behavior or disputes.
  • Participate in casino cash and coin counts as assigned.
  • Provide attentive service to high-value guests and ensure supervisors are informed when necessary.
  • Attend meetings, training sessions, and complete assigned duties as required.

Qualifications and competence:

  • Proof of completion of a Gaming Board/Commission-approved dealer school (or international equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years of dealer experience across multiple games including Blackjack, Dice, American Roulette, and Caribbean Stud Poker.
  • Completion of high school or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to calculate payouts quickly and accurately.
  • Professional, courteous, and tactful approach with guests and team members.
  • Attentive, security-minded, and detail-oriented.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Additional languages (Spanish, French, German, etc.) preferred.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods; lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a shipboard environment, including varying temperatures.
  • Must be physically able to participate in emergency drills and safety procedures.
