Information about the job:
- Job Title: Tug Master.
- Project: ASD Tug.
- Location: Gulf Countries or West Africa.
- Salary: 200-250 USD / per day but can be negotiated further with right candidate.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
- Minimum of Master 500GT unlimited trading area with all the required experience.
- Master II/2 CoC.
- Knowledge of OVID inspection procedures.
- Experience with marine warranty surveys.
- Ability to produce accurate client reports.
- Familiarity with vessel on/off hire processes.
- Conducting client-specific inspections.
- Understanding basic principles of Charter Parties.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Awareness of operational scope, safety, and efficiency.
- Basic handling of shipboard equipment, winches, and fuel management.
- Competence with maritime communication systems.
- Fluent in English.
Tasks:
- Perform vessel and equipment inspections and surveys.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding procedures for vessels.
- Execute client-specific assessments and inspections.
- Conduct barge towing operations between shipyards, fabrication yards, and offshore fields; standby with barge in the field.
- Support tug operations for rig tows across fields, countries, or oilfields.
- Assist with rig load-out and load-in on/from heavy-lift vessels (HLVs).
- Perform pull-back duties and docking of tugs at SPM oil terminals.
- Facilitate ship-to-ship berthing, typically at LNG terminals.
- Participate in salvage operations and emergency towing.
