Terms and Conditions:

• Job title: Machinist.
• Project: SSDR.
• Location: Mediterranean Sea.
• Contract duration: 12 months (renewable).
• Rotation: 28/28 days on/off.
• Start date: ASAP.
• Salary: 7920 EUR, Consolidated per month.
• Insurance: Provided by the company.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Experience in the respective position - 3 years, onboard offshore drilling vessels Semi - Sub / Drill Ships is a must (only Jack Up will not be considered)
• Minimum 5 years of Drilling OFFSHORE experience in the specific role.
• Valid BOSIET (OPITO approved).
• Proficiency in operating manual machining equipment (lathe, mill, drill press).
• Understanding of safety practices, including PPE usage and participation in safety briefings.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Tasks:

• Produce steel parts according to exact measurements and tolerances.
• Run manual and CNC machines as needed.
• Repair and troubleshoot mechanical equipment in the workshop.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the shop environment.
• Perform scheduled tool and machine maintenance.
• Participate in safety briefings and complete job safety analyses.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
• Report work progress and issues to the Second Engineer.
