Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Chief Engineer with daily operations and maintenance of the engine room.
• Ensuring optimal performance of all machinery and equipment.
• Conducting routine inspections and overseeing repairs as necessary.
• Monitoring fuel and lubricant levels to ensure efficient consumption.
• Maintaining safety protocols and compliance with maritime regulations.

Requirements:

• Valid 2nd Engineer certificate, matching STCW III/2 qualifications.
• Proven experience as a 2nd Engineer on bulk carriers.
• Strong knowledge of marine engineering systems.
