Terms and Conditions:

• Job title: Chief Engineer.
• Project: Offshore Non DP AHTS Vessel.
• Location: KSA (Saudi Arabia).
• Rotation: 60/60 days on/off.
• Start date: ASAP.
• Salary: Please confirm your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated monthly salary per month of work will be offered.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Previous working experience with Saudi Aramco and holds Aramco approval.
• Proven experience as Chief Engineer on DP/AHTS or non-DP AHTS vessels.
• Valid and up-to-date STCW certificates and relevant endorsements.
• Strong knowledge of main propulsion, auxiliary machinery, and DP systems (where applicable).
• Proficient in planning and executing engine room maintenance and repairs.
• Sound understanding of vessel safety systems, pollution prevention, and international maritime regulations.
• Capable of leading multinational engine room crews with clear delegation and mentorship.
• Ability to manage spare parts inventory and technical documentation.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Tasks:

• Take full responsibility for safe and efficient operation of all engine room systems.
• Lead and supervise engine department crew, ensuring work is carried out to standard.
• Monitor fuel, oil, and consumable usage, preparing accurate reports for vessel management.
• Implement planned maintenance schedules, troubleshooting issues promptly.
• Oversee dry-dockings, repairs, and surveys in coordination with superintendents.
• Ensure compliance with class, flag, and ISM requirements at all times.
• Maintain technical records, logbooks, and planned maintenance system data.
• Advise the Master and shore management on engineering matters and technical improvements.
