Terms and Conditions:

• Job title: Chief Engineer.
• Project: Offshore Non DP Crew Boat.
• Location: KSA (Saudi Arabia).
• Contract duration: + -  4 months.
• Start date: ASAP.
• Salary: USD220/per day.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Previous working experience with Saudi Aramco and holds Aramco approval.
• Valid Ch Engr: Class-1 COC III/2 Certificate.
• Proven experience as Chief Engineer on non-DP Crew Boat for a minimum of 24 months.
• Valid and up-to-date STCW certificates and relevant endorsements.
• Valid STCW certification and current medical clearance.
• Solid knowledge of marine diesel engines, generators, and auxiliary equipment.
• Ability to manage planned maintenance schedules and keep accurate records.
• Strong troubleshooting skills under time-sensitive conditions.
• Familiarity with maritime safety regulations and pollution prevention measures.
• Effective communication with bridge team, deck crew, and shore management.
• Capability to train and supervise engine room ratings.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Tasks:

• Oversee operation, upkeep, and performance of all machinery and technical systems on board.
• Lead daily inspections of engines, pumps, fuel, lubrication, and cooling systems.
• Organize and implement maintenance routines to minimize downtime.
• Respond rapidly to mechanical issues and restore functionality in emergencies.
• Track spare parts, fuel, and lubricants, and coordinate resupply needs.
• Keep logbooks, maintenance reports, and compliance documentation updated.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed in the engine department.
• Support safe navigation by maintaining propulsion and power systems at optimal reliability.
