Information about the job:

• Job Title: Sand Blasting Painting Foreman.
• Project: Various Offshore Vessels.
• Location: Worldwide (Currently in Romania).
• Contract duration: 12 months (renewable).
• Rotation: 165/30 days on/off or 56/28 days on/off.
• Salary: Please confirm your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated monthly.
• Start date: ASAP.
• Insurance: Provided by the Company.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Experience in the position of Sand Blasting Painting Foreman.
• B1 English level.
• Experience supervising teams in sandblasting and industrial painting operations.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and quality standards in surface preparation and coating.
• Ability to allocate resources, equipment, and materials effectively.
• Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and toolbox talks.
• Good communication skills to liaise across teams and disciplines.
• Competence in reporting progress, documenting changes, and updating records.

Tasks:

• Supervise daily sandblasting and painting operations in line with project scope.
• Enforce safety rules and environmental safeguards at the worksite.
• Provide clear work instructions to the crew.
• Monitor quality of surface preparation and coating against project standards.
• Organize, distribute, and check all tools, equipment, and consumables.
• Report difficulties or non-conformities to the supervisor and propose corrective actions.
• Hold daily toolbox briefings with the team.
• Verify containment measures are in place to prevent grit or chemical release.
• Ensure work progress follows the agreed schedule.
