Information about the job: 

• Job Title: Chief Electrician.
• Project: DP Vessel.
• Location: Worldwide.
• Contract duration: 12 months (renewable).
• Rotation: 28/28 days on/off.
• Salary: Please confirm your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. Consolidated monthly.
• Start date: ASAP.
• Insurance: Provided by the Company.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Minimum 5 years serving as Chief Electrician specifically on DP vessels.
• Hands-on background with pipelay or heavy-lift vessel operations.
• Solid knowledge of K-POS and K-Chief systems, including troubleshooting and upkeep.
• Familiarity with DP FMEA testing procedures.
• Proficient in using AMOS TMS or similar maintenance management systems.
• Demonstrated leadership, with oversight of crews of 15+ personnel.
• Proven track record working on large-scale offshore vessels.

Tasks:

• Ensure safe and reliable operation of all onboard electrical systems.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on K-POS and K-Chief systems.
• Support and oversee DP FMEA trials in coordination with the bridge team.
• Manage electrical records, schedules, and reporting through AMOS TMS.
• Lead, train, and supervise the electrical department crew.
• Provide technical input during pipelay and heavy-lift activities.
• Maintain compliance with class, flag, and company safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical failures with minimal downtime.
