**Electrician (ELEC) – Container Vessel – Liberia Flag**

**Description**
Electrician required for container vessel under Liberia flag, managed by OSM Thome. Worldwide trading, vessel joining in Singapore. Work as part of the engine department, maintaining and repairing all electrical and electronic systems on board in line with OSMT and Danaos standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all electrical and electronic equipment
- Carry out maintenance on power distribution, switchboards, generators and motors
- Inspect and maintain navigation and communication equipment as directed
- Maintain lighting, alarms, sensors and control systems throughout the vessel
- Keep proper records of electrical maintenance and repairs
- Follow safety procedures and company standards in all electrical work
- Assist engine department with related technical tasks as required

**Requirements**
- Minimum 1 year sea service as Electrician (ELEC) or equivalent on seagoing vessels
- Experience on container vessels preferred
- Valid STCW certificates as per rank
- Valid medical fitness for sea service
- Good knowledge of marine electrical systems and safe working practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of the engine team
- Good English communication skills for onboard operations and reporting
