RESPONSIBILITIES
· The position supports the recruitment team in ensuring a wide reach of seafarers.
· Assists applicants through the recruitment process, supports report generation, and helps implement process improvements, projects, and departmental initiatives.
· Supports the Crewing operation team where seafarers must be engaged.

DUTIES
· Visit planned locations to engage with seafarers towards pool enhancement.
· Study clusters where new seafarers can be recruited. Conduct engagement meetings with seafarers as required.
· Study clusters where ex hand seafarers exists. Conduct engagement meetings with seafarers as required.
· Verify sea time, Collect and scan applicant basic documents (e.g., Seaman’s Book, Passport).
· Facilitate reference checks (with consent).
· Support the review and continuous improvement of recruitment and engagement processes in coordination with the Recruitment and Operations team.
· Support engagement and recruitment initiatives to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.
· Perform tasks as assigned by the Immediate Leader.

AUTHORITY
· Authority as per Company authority matrix.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES
· Bachelor's degree in HR, Maritime Studies or a related field.
· 2+ years of recruitment experience.
· Proven track record in recruitment strategy development and execution.
· Experience in the shipping industry preferred, but candidates with strong recruitment backgrounds.
· Familiarity with seafarer certification, compliance standards, and manning models.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
· Proficiency in using ATS and recruitment analytics tools.
