OSM Thome Recruitment is looking for experienced Snack Attendant for unique career opportunities in the cruise industry, on behalf of Royal Caribbean Group. 

To provide a friendly and professional service to the guests in the buffet service area.

The Snack Attendant delivers friendly, professional service to guests in the buffet and casual dining areas, ensuring a premium experience in line with Celebrity Cruises’ standards of Safety, Service, and Style.

• Provide courteous and professional service at all times, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests and team members.
• Manage an assigned buffet station, ensuring food and beverages are replenished promptly and attractively presented.
• Follow company policies, safety protocols, and United States Public Health (USPH) regulations at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas, including equipment and buffet stations.
• Assist with transporting stock and supplies from storerooms to buffet areas as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and support career advancement opportunities.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of ship operations to assist guests and crew with inquiries.
• Attend scheduled meetings, training sessions, and other work-related events.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Financial Responsibilities:

• Support cost control by properly using, handling, and maintaining supplies, records, and equipment.
• Ensure minimal waste and efficient use of resources within the buffet area.

Qualifications:

Experience & Education:

• Minimum of three years of experience in food and beverage service within an upscale hotel, resort, or cruise ship (shipboard experience preferred).
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and food service equipment use.
• Completion of high school education or equivalent required.

Language Requirements

• Fluent in English, with the ability to read, write, and communicate clearly and courteously with guests and team members.
• Additional languages such as Spanish, French, or German are a plus.
• Physical Requirements
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and frequently use hands and arms to handle items.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Full range of motion, including visual, hearing, and verbal communication skills, is required to participate in emergency procedures and drills.
