OSM Thome Recruitment is looking for experienced Diesel Mechanic for unique career opportunities in the cruise industry, on behalf of Royal Caribbean Group. 

The Diesel Engine Technician will be responsible for executing work orders assigned by the 1st Engineer, with a primary focus on the maintenance and repair of diesel engines and related systems.

• Uphold the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability. Work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels to adhere to and support RCL's environmental policies. Immediately report any malfunctions in environmental systems to your direct superior.
• Perform general overhauling and maintenance of Main and Auxiliary Diesel Engines, including but not limited to:
• Overhauling and replacing cylinder heads, pistons, and liners.
• Overhauling fuel pumps.
• Assisting with overhauling miscellaneous propulsion and auxiliary systems as needed.
• Participate in additional routine maintenance and tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Watchkeeping Engineering License.
• Experience with Wärtsilä, MAN, and Pielstick diesel engines.
