Information about the job:

• Job Title: Telecommunication Supervisor.
• Project: Offshore.
• Location: Worldwide (currently in Saudi Arabia or Qatar, and Romania).
• Rotation: 56/28 days on/off.
• Contract duration: 12 months (renewable). 
• Salary: EU Consolidated Monthly Salary 6000-6500 EUR (provided rotation and working schedule are respected), not paid while on rotational leave (amount is net in your bank account).
• Start date: ASAP.
• Insurance: Provided by the company.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Minimum of 6 years of offshore hook-up experience in a similar role.
• Completion of BOSIET and H₂S awareness training preferred.
• Valid Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) credential from an FOA-accredited center.
• ATEX-approved cable gland training or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• Must have completed HSE induction and Basic Life Support courses.
• Familiarity with Permit to Work (PTW) procedures.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher (CEFR scale).

Tasks:

• Perform installation, connection, and testing of fiber optic cables and components.
• Conduct offshore hook-up activities, ensuring full compliance with project and safety standards.
• Verify and document system integrity through inspections and testing procedures.
• Apply ATEX requirements for cable gland installation in hazardous areas.
• Maintain and update technical and safety documentation, including PTW records.
• Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety meetings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical or installation issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical and communication systems.
• Uphold HSE standards and contribute to a safe, compliant work environment.
