OSM Thome Recruitment is looking for experienced Photographer for unique career opportunities in the cruise industry, on behalf of Royal Caribbean Group.

The Photographer is responsible for capturing high-quality images of daily events both onboard and ashore—including embarkation, gangways, dining rooms, portraits, and special activities. This role also supports the Photo Gallery by delivering outstanding guest service, promoting photo products, and ensuring merchandise is beautifully displayed. Photographers may also participate in character-based mascot interactions to create memorable guest experiences.

All duties must be performed in accordance with Royal Caribbean International’s “The Royal Way,” SQM standards, USPH regulations, environmental practices, and safety policies. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

Guest Photography & Experience

• Capture engaging photos of all scheduled shipboard and shoreside events, proactively maximizing image count and quality to support performance targets.
• Participate in photo shoots in full mascot costume, maintaining high energy, guest interaction, and character engagement.
• Provide exceptional customer service with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude at all times.

Photo Gallery & Sales

• Assist guests in locating their photographs in the Photo Gallery to drive sales of images and retail items.
• Actively promote photo packages, upgrades, and special products to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
• Ensure gallery displays, marketing materials, and merchandise are visually appealing, organized, and maintained to company standards.

Operational Duties

• Operate a wide range of photographic equipment, including digital SLR cameras, studio lights, backdrops, computers, and editing software.
• Support the setup, takedown, and storage of portrait studio equipment.
• Assist with preparation and breakdown of gallery displays and sales areas.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper storage of all equipment and supplies.

Compliance & Standards

• Follow all environmental, safety, and USPH guidelines as trained.
• Uphold Royal Caribbean’s service culture and adhere to company image, grooming, and performance standards.
• Continuously develop photography and sales skills to achieve and exceed targets.
