Information about the job:
- Position: Electronic Engineer.
- Project: Various Offshore Drilling Projects.
- Location: Indonesia / Worldwide.
- Rotation: 28/28 (on/off).
- Salary: Please provide your realistic salary expectations when applying. Final compensation will be discussed with qualified candidates. Consolidated monthly.
- Contract start: TBC (ASAP).
- Contract duration: 12 months (renewable).
- Bonus: 2025 Bonus Scheme: 15% bonus for every day worked.
- Insurances: Provided by the Company.
Requirements / Qualifications / Competence:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience working as an Electronic Engineer, Electronic Technician, or a higher technical role.
- Diploma or High School qualification in Electronics, Electrical studies, or a closely related field.
- Experience must include:
- Either at least 2 years working onboard an offshore drilling rig with the same employer, OR
- At least 4 years working on non-company rigs.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
Tasks:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair electronic systems, control panels, sensor networks, and automation equipment.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure continuous and reliable operation of electronic systems.
- Troubleshoot system faults, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Assist with upgrades, installation, calibration, and commissioning of new electronic and control equipment.
- Monitor system performance and provide technical support to operations personnel as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and maintenance protocols.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records, reports, and logs for all electronic equipment.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and operational teams to solve technical issues and minimize downtime.
