Information about the job:
- Job Title: Electrical Foreman.
- Project: Various Offshore.
- Rotation: 35/35 days on/off.
- Salary: 8’000 – 9’000 EUR Consolidated Monthly (paid only when working, not when on leave).
- Overtime rate: Applicable.
- Start date: ASAP.
- Insurances: Provided by the company.
- Employer: Our client, a drilling and construction contractor.
Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:
- 5+ years of previous experience in the role on board construction vessels.
- Strong leadership in overseeing a team of 5–6 electricians, including conducting daily toolbox talks and ensuring safety compliance.
- Proficient in issuing work permits and managing maintenance activities through AMOS or similar systems.
- Capable of managing Rotating machine maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with offshore power cable laying, installing and securing according to standards.
- Competent in both HV and LV switchboard inspection, upkeep, and fault diagnosis.
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and installation drawings.
- Familiar with offshore safety protocols and capable of coordinating with multidisciplinary teams during operations.
- Experienced in spare parts planning and inventory control to minimise downtime.
Tasks:
- Execute all tasks as specified in the requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the electrical team, ensuring work is performed safely and efficiently.
- Ensure electrical systems comply with classification society and client standards.
- Liaise with other departments (mechanical, instrumentation, operations) to support integrated project delivery.
- Prepare progress reports and provide technical feedback to the Electrical Superintendent or Chief Engineer.
- Train and mentor junior electricians and ensure proper delegation of duties.
