Information about the job:

• Position: Drilling Performance Expert.
• Project: Various Offshore Drilling Projects.
• Location: Indonesia / Worldwide.
• Rotation: 28/28 (on/off).
• Salary: Please provide your realistic salary expectations when applying. Final compensation will be discussed with qualified candidates. Consolidated monthly.
• Contract start: TBC (ASAP).
• Contract duration: 12 months (renewable).
• Insurances: Provided by the Company.

Requirements / Qualifications / Competence:

• Strong understanding of drilling mechanics, wellbore hydraulics, downhole tool behavior, and real-time monitoring systems.
• Ability to analyze operational data and translate insights into measurable performance improvements.
• Skilled in drilling optimization software and digital workflows.
• Capable of mentoring rig teams with a hands-on, collaborative coaching approach.
• Demonstrated record of reducing invisible lost time and improving execution consistency.
• Effective communicator with the ability to simplify technical concepts for all crew levels.
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to procedural assurance.
• Proficiency in English.

Tasks:

• Monitor daily drilling activities and identify opportunities for faster, safer, and more consistent well execution.
• Lead post-operation reviews and distribute actionable findings to rig leadership.
• Develop short daily coaching sessions for drill crews focused on operational discipline and execution performance.
• Support implementation of new practices, procedures, and work instructions that enhance drilling performance.
• Participate in well planning and risk reviews to ensure lessons learned are built into future phases.
• Validate that operational gains are measured, tracked, and communicated transparently.
• Promote a continuous improvement culture onboard, ensuring lessons translate into repeatable operational wins.
