Information about the job: 

• Job Title: Able Seaman / Gangway Operator.
• Project: Seaway Alfalift - Inch Cape project.
• Location: UK.
• Duration: 250 days.
• Rotation: 8 Weeks ON & 4 Weeks OFF or 5 Weeks ON & 5 Weeks OFF .
• Salary: Please state your realistic expectations when applying. This will be discussed with the right candidate. 
• Start date: Mid-February 2026.

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

• Valid Stage 2 Able Seaman Certificate.
• Proven experience in deck operations on offshore vessels.
• Knowledge of gangway handling and safety procedures.
• Ability to work in challenging offshore environments.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Awareness of maritime safety regulations and emergency procedures.
• English proficiency.

Tasks:

• Operate and maintain the gangway system safely and efficiently.
• Assist with mooring and unmooring operations.
• Perform routine deck maintenance and inspections.
• Support cargo and heavy load handling operations.
• Monitor safety equipment and respond to onboard emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with company and maritime safety standards.
• Collaborate with the crew to maintain smooth deck operations.
