Terms and Conditions:

  • Contract duration: 3mths +/- (subject to operational requirements).
  • Start date: ASAP.
  • Salary: USD200 – USD250 / day. 

Requirements/Qualifications/Competence:

  • Previous working experience on Tug Boat as Master.
  • Valid Master’s Certificate up to 3000 GRT
  • Familiarity with OVID inspections, MWS attendance, and other client-driven audits.
  • Ability to complete operational reports, on/off-hire processes, and vessel-specific documentation.
  • Basic awareness of charter party clauses relevant to tug operations.
  • Strong command of Safety Management System (SMS) procedures.
  • Proven ability to oversee daily vessel operations and manage all port-related paperwork.
  • Comfortable working independently in remote locations with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent English communication skills and confidence in representing the vessel to clients.

Tasks:

  • Handle barge towing movements between fabrication yards, shipyards, offshore sites, and standby positioning at the field.
  • Assist with rig tow operations, including inter-field or cross-border relocations.
  • Support heavy-lift vessel (HLV) load-outs and load-ins for rigs and large structures.
  • Perform pull-back duties and docking assistance at SPM and offshore loading terminals.
  • Manage ship-to-ship (STS) berthing operations, commonly at LNG facilities.
  • Participate in emergency towage and salvage-related tasks as required.
